Accessibility
The Butler County Board of MRDD takes an active approach to the removal of barriers that affect people with disabilities and their families as well as its own employees. Toward this effort an Accessibility Committee was created in the fall of 2003 to meet the following objectives:
- Describe the process by which the MRDD Program will identify, remove, and prevent barriers that affect people with disabilities.
- Review earlier efforts to remove and prevent barriers.
- List the locations, policies, programs, practices and services to review in order to identify barriers.
- Describe the measures the MRDD Program will take in the future to identify, remove, and prevent barriers.
