The tag line "We love to see you smile!" not only holds true for McDonald's restaurants' patrons, but for one of its employees as well.

Lori Edgington is the type of employee that anyone would want to have working for them.  She is hardworking, courteous, energetic, and does her job with a smile. 

"Lori has an excellent work ethic," said Janine Rice, Manager of McDonald's on Commerce Drive in Franklin, Ohio.  "I wouldn't trade her for the world; I wish that I had more employees like her.  She can keep up the pace with the best of them."

McDonald's is dedicated to total customer satisfaction and no matter what position an employee works, their primary responsibility is to satisfy customers.  In order to do this they need staff that is focused, on task, and reliable to adhere to their goals and standards.

"I like my job, I have made some good friends," said Lori.  "I work five days a week."  Lori has worked at McDonald's since July 2003.

Her hard work and dedication paid off when she was recognized in February 2006 as Employee of the Month. In her review, it was noted that she is always friendly, has a great smile, follows procedures, and is willing to help where she can.

Lori receives services from the Butler County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and Abilities First in Middletown.  Donna Brown, Job Coach with Abilities First, visits with Lori once a month to see how she is doing on her job. Brown addresses any need that Lori or her employer has.
